Spotlight on Staff...Kelly
Our super star Kelly recently celebrated her 10 year anniversary with us, and we couldn’t be prouder, pictured here with manager Linzi. A decade ago Kelly started her childcare career as a part-time Playworker at our Farfield Site. She soon developed a passion for Early Education and began to study her formal qualifications in Childcare and Early Education moving to our Bramley Nursery.
Kelly’s quiet, calm, caring nature makes her the perfect fit to lead our Baby Room at our Bramley site.
In her own words here is why she’s chosen to stay with us for so long…
“I decided to pursue a career in childcare because I have always loved children and wanted a large family of my own, I now have 4 children and am as passionate about the job as ever.
The best thing about working with children is that every day is different and it is amazing to know that I can make a positive impact on the lives of so many little people and their families.
The best thing about working at Little People is the understanding, surrounding the importance of family. I have been able to bring my own children to nursery with me and watch them enjoy being here as much as I do and I know my co-workers love them also. Linzi will always try to enable me to attend events at my own children’s school for example sports days which I appreciate very much and I always offer to help out with extra shifts when needed.
My hobbies are my children, I have 4 beautiful children a fat cat and a rabbit that all keep me on my toes. My family is my life and we enjoy spending time together and making memories.
I spend all day laughing and having fun, the children make me happy and always find a way to make me smile. The team are like a second family and we have a lovely time working together.”
