Little People Pride Awards & Christmas Party 2022
This year we excitedly welcomed the return of our Annual Christmas Party and Pride Awards after a our “Covid break”. We were so disappointed last year when we were so close to getting together but Omicron put a last minute spanner in the works. It just wasn’t the same delivering the awards in our little bubbles and we’re happy that we seem to have returned to normal.
The Team came together at the end of November for a slap-up meal and festive shenanigans, including a rendition of All I Want for Christmas is You, by the glamorously delightful Ella – including our “Team Challenge” where each Nursery are pitted against each other, and the winners receive cash for a team night out. This year, Ben (who many parents will know from Customer Accounts) played the Host with the most as he delivered a fun, and slightly chaotic, game of Play Your Cards Right. The tie breaker was a “Guess the combined age of our Leadership Team”, and Team Alwoodley managed to take home the prize with a guess that was just 1 year out. Well done Team Alwoodley!
Our Pride Awards are voted for my team members, parents and children and always a highlight of the evening. Each winner collects a Pride Award trophy and is awarded additional holiday and shopping vouchers to thank them for their huge impact this year. We also produce a Pride Award booklet so each Team Member can see the lovely comments from all, these are available in your nursery lobby if you want to take a peek – have the tissues ready as they make for quite an emotional read!
