Meet Sharon – She describes herself as caring, devoted and passionate and we certainly agree – this lovely lady has been bringing heart and warmth to our Funclub at Farsley Farfield for over 8 years and makes everyone feel at home. It’s not hard to see why she won a Little People Pride Award two years running for her outstanding parent partnership and care for the children.
Our parents say…

Sharon is a consummate professional who cares so much. I am always confident they are in good hands with her.

She has always been brilliant with our children. She is firm but fair and clearly wants the best for all of the children in her care.

Sharon just cares so much for the children and always has time to pass my girls over with a kind comment. She settles them down for the day and my girls adore her!

Always a smiling face and happy to go that extra mine for my little girl. Such an amazing and valuable member of your team.

Sharon not only takes great care of my daughter but she takes great care of me, the parent. She goes the extra mile by being concerned about issues surrounding both my daughter and the knock on affect it can have on parents.

She is always polite, happy and caring and it’s great to know that I am leaving my beloved little girl in good hands.

Always a friendly warm welcome to every parent!

Sharon says…
I chose a job in childcare due to my passion for the sector. I have also found working with children and young people a rewarding career , supporting and encouraging young people to reach their full potential , been able to witness this is what makes my job worthwhile. Through my vast childcare experience I have been able to build upon my own skills , knowledge and understanding of the sector , making myself a more effective role model for the young people as well as creating more positive outcomes for them and their families.
Little People is a good organisation to work for, I enjoy the team I work In , staff morale is high and I enjoy been part of a effective and supportive working team. I feel within the organisation my views are listened to and we always work within a child centered approach creating better outcomes for the young people as well as supporting families.
