Our staff spotlights are often focused on team members who have been with us for a long time, however today we’re introducing a relatively new recruit to our page.
Courtney joined our Bramley Nursery in 2019 as part of our Apprentice Scheme – she is working towards her childcare qualifications with us, and our partner college Aire Vocational Training.
Courtney describes herself as ambitious, motivated and fun and we certainly agree, she’s made a huge impact to the team and was a worthy recipient of our Annual Pride Awards.
Our staff team say…
“Courtney shows commitment and does her role to a massive extent.”
“Courtney is a very enthusiastic and is always smiley and happy when coming to work. She follows the children’s interest and their wishes.”
“Courtney has also built very good relationship with our parents.”
“She is very committed at her role and has lots of ideas for the room.”
“Courtney has settled in so well in schoolroom, she is amazing at what she does!”
“She makes her time at work fun for the children.”
A few words from Courtney…
“Winning a pride award for me is a huge achievement. I have been working at Little People for a short period of time and to get my work noticed is an exciting and proud moment for me. To be one of the few people selected from such an amazing group of individuals is definitely something to be proud of and a big accomplishment for me.
The best thing about working at Little People is definitely how rewarding it is. I get the opportunity every day to help these children overcome fears, make friends, boost their confidence, feel comfortable and get them ready for school. A huge thing for me is how grateful parents/carers are for it. Some families really benefit from nurseries for example if they work and have nobody to look after their children so knowing that I can help them even a little is such an amazing feeling.
I want to say a huge thank you to anyone that voted for me and It’s greatly appreciated.”
