Farfield Funclub is set in a purpose built building on the site of Farsley Farfield Primary School. The Funclub, is split into 3 main rooms which are all bright and vibrant offering a homely atmosphere and has a seperate kitchen and bathroom facilities. The children have direct access to the school playgrounds which boast a wonderful spacious outdoor play area, including adventure playgrounds and sensory trails, which are freely accessible to the children.

We open at 7.30am and offer breakfast to the children before they start their busy day at school. Children are then escorted to their classrooms for the start of the school day.

At the end of the school day we collect the children from their classroom and provide an afternoon snack on arrival at Funclub. The children are then free to play games, outdoors or indoors, or join in a variety of arts and crafts until we close at 6pm.

Funclub is open to children from any school during School Holidays. We are open for all holidays with the exception of Bank Holiday Mondays, Christmas Day, Boxing day, New Years Day, and the 3 days between Christmas and New Year.

Prior to each school holiday we issue a Booking form and Newsletter via email for you to book a place, to be on the mailing list please complete an application form, available on our Downloads page.

Our Funclub team plan some general activities for the children, which are detailed on our Newsletter, these will be enhanced and developed once the children are in the setting as they add in their own ideas.

The lovely Leanne joined Little People back in 2003, when she was studying Playwork at University. Leanne has progressed in seniority with over a decade of experience in the setting and now leads her Funclub Team with a calm nature and a quiet smile.

Leanne's wealth of experience and conscientious attitude is a huge hit with children, parents and colleagues alike. She is full of ideas for the children, and makes a huge effort every school holiday to ensure the children are making the most of their time off school.

Leanne is fully qualified to degree level as a Playworker and has also undertaking a further qualification in Team Leading to enhance her leadership skills.

Zoe has a wealth of experience in Childcare and Nursery Management starting her childcare career over 12 years ago and training initially in Childcare, followed by Management and in 2013 completing a BA (hons) in Young Children’s Learning and Development.

A relatively new recruit to the Little People Management Team, Zoe has settled in brilliantly and leads with enthusiasm and commitment.

Zoe's bubbly and enthusiastic character is a huge hit with staff, parents and children, she is currently planning her upcoming wedding AND expecting baby number 2, she doesn't like to do things by halves! Her lovely little Oliver is a Little Person himself and looking forward to being a big brother later in the year.

Nicola Johnson (was Chadwick) started her career with us at the age of 18, and has progressed in seniority over her 11 years with us. Throughout her career Nicola has enjoyed a range of supervisory roles at 3 of our 4 sites, taking with her experience and sharing the best practise from each to enrich the environment.

Nicola began her career at the Farfield site, and after a wealth of experience leading teams across the company, returned to her deputy role there in 2010.

An understanding Mum herself, Nicola is a big hit with children, staff and parents for her approachable friendly nature.
